You can always rely on good oul Penneys to bring us the latest trends at cheap as chips prices, and considering how fast those trendy tides changes you’d be MAD to pay full whack for any fad.
So when we saw that Penneys are now selling two Instagram faves for whitening the molars, we weren’t surprised.
First on the shelves was their PS… Hollywood Charcoal Toothpaste (only €2!), which jumps on the promise that activated charcoal can clean and whiten teeth by “soaking up” stains on teeth.

The other #ontrend teeth whitening trick that apparently works is ‘oil pulling’.
Used primarily in Ayurvedic medicine, it’s a sort of detoxification for teeth that involves swishing around a tablespoon of oil in your mouth for up to TWENTY (bejaysis) minutes.
It’s usually done with coconut oil, as it’s thought that the lauric acid found in coconute oil can rid your teeth of bacteria found in plaque that makes them yellow.
The PS… Hollywood Oil Pulling treatment €4, and tbh we’re not sure if we have the commitment needed to hold a mouthful of oil in our mouth every day.
Hmm… We’re not too sure if these will actually give you LA smiles or if they’re just a fun gimmick, but for a combined €6 you can’t really go wrong – and you can hashtag the shite out it too.
