Peter Mark increasing prices by up to €60 to fix long regrowth and home dye jobs

Salon chain Peter Mark has confirmed that it will increase prices when it reopens at the end of the month.

Given the green light to reopen at the end of the month, hairdressers and barbers around the country are busy putting the proper steps in place to ensure they can get back to business on June 29th. One of those being popular salon chain Peter Mark – who wasted no time in announcing that they’re already taking bookings.

Taking to social media to detail the services that will be available upon reopening, Peter Mark also warned clients that added fees may incur to address long regrowth and the use of home dye kits.

A post on the company’s Facebook page reads:

“To adjust for the time that has elapsed since your last salon service our teams may need to perform one of three technical applications. These are to address long regrowth, uneven or patchy colour and hair that has faded. These additional technical services may require a longer appointment time and should be factored into your salon visit.”

Going on to explain each of the technical services, customers can choose from a “colour detox” option, a “colour extend” option or a “colour restore” option – each of which will cost an additional €45-€60.

Due to reopen on Monday, many clients are unhappy at the news of increased prices.
