Gardai posted a picture yesterday of the perfect example of how not to park on a road.
It shows a Volkswagon completely blocking the entire path, and gardai said: “Illegal parking Conyngham Rd. Car parked on footpath. Impassible for prams/wheelchairs.”
Jaysis.
But, that’s not all…

Sharp eyed twitter folk were quick to spot that eh, there’s not just ONE bad example of parking there.
The cycle lanes are chockablock with cars. Like, full.
Cycle lanes have a rule which says that: “a broken white line means that other vehicles can drive, load and or unload and park in them for 30 minutes during their hours of operation”.
But seriously, how are cyclists supposed to use to lanes if cars are in and out of them all day?
