There will be another reason apart from the low exchange rate to drive up the road to Newry soon with the news that Denny’s are looking at sites to open in Northern Ireland.
The popular American chain which is best known for their breakfasts are rolling out across the UK and aim to bring the same same ‘high quality, high value and extraordinary customer service to England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.’
Priding themselves on their status as the world’s largest full-service family restaurant giant, they operate over 2,000 eateries in the United States.
They’re keeping their UK launch very hush-hush – with only minor details yet made public – but that hasn’t stopped them relentlessly teasing fans via social media with images of their classic American grub:

Loved across America and famed for their motto “always open” – they’re very public about only closing when “required by law” and word on the grapevine is they’ll have the same attitude once they hit the these shores.
Expect hearty all-american pancakes stacks, grilled breakfast sandwiches and enough coffee to fill a swimming pool!
