Second Man Arrested In Nicola Collins Murder Investigation

A second man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 38-year-old Nicola Collins in Cork earlier this week. 

The 44-year-old man was arrested in Limerick City this morning and is being detained at Mayfield Garda station. 

Mother-of-three Collins sustained head injuries at a property in Farranree in the early hours of Monday morning. She was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts to resuscitate her. A 42-year-old man was subsequently arrested but released without charge.
