Dundalk FC created a piece of history last night by becoming the first ever Irish club to earn a point in European group competition.
The Lilywhites were away to AZ Alkmaar of the Netherlands and came away with a 1-1 draw in their opening Europa League Group D encounter.
They didn’t do it the easy way however and left it until the 89th minute to secure the famous point courtesy of a Ciaran Kilduff header.
The goal sent the travelling supporters into dreamland and those in the commentary box were no exception.
Adrian Taaffe and David Crawley were covering the game for LMFM and went absolutely bananas. Which was quite appropriate since Dundalk are sponsored by Fyffes.

‘GET IN THERE YA LEDGE YA!!’
The two lads just let loose and didn’t even notice that they were generally just shouting over each other.
Well done boys and well done Dundalk. You did the country proud.
