There's Plenty Of Irish Interest At European Indoor Athletics Championships Today

It only seems like yesterday we were cheering for our athletes at the Olympics in Rio and today they need your support once more.

The 2017 European Indoor Athletics Championships get underway in Belgrade today and there's plenty of Irish interest. 

Getting the boys and girls in green started will be Phil Healy and Sinéad Denny who take part in the 400m heats at roughly 8.45am. 

One of our most high profile stars, Ciara Mageean will compete in the 1500m heats alonside Kerry O'Flaherty at around 4.05pm while fans of the hurdles can check out Ben Reynolds taking part in the 60m heats at around 12.20pm.

The full Irish schedule for Friday is as follows:

1220 Ben Reynolds 60m hurdles heats
1545 Ben Reynolds 60m hurdles semi-finals
1605 Ciara Mageean and Kerry O'Flaherty 1500m heats
1645 Phil Healy and Sinead Denny 400m semi-finals
1705 Brian Gregan 400m semi-finals
1725 Tomas Cotter 3000m heats
1815 John Travers 1500m men heats
1910 Ben Reynolds 60m hurdles men final
