There’s no better feeling than when the sun shines in Ireland. Unless of course the sun is shining on a weekend when you’re not stuck in the sweltering heat of the office.
It looks like that’s going to be the case this weekend, with mild and sunny weather being predicted from Friday to Monday. Speaking on RTÉ Radio One’s Morning Ireland today, Met Éireann forecaster John Eagleton said that the best of the weather is expected on Friday with the mercury potentially hitting 20 degrees.
He told the broadcaster:
“The temperatures have finally improved, and they will stay up there.
“We’re pretty certain they will hit 18C on Thursday. Tomorrow will start misty and damp, but the afternoon will be good for many places.
“There will be very little wind on Thursday and Friday.
“On Friday, the temperatures could go higher, to 19 and 20 degrees.”
