The Storm Is Over – Here’s What The Weather Will Be Like Today

Hurricane Ophelia has passed, leaving Ireland to deal with the devastation.

The schools are cancelled again today but most universities and workplaces are open, so it’s likely you’ll be out and about.

The good news is that the weather is back to normal today – cool and bright with sunny spells.

It’ll be dry across most of the country, apart from a few showers, mostly in Ulster.

Maximum temperatures will be between 11 and 14 degrees Celsius.

This evening looks fairly chilly, with lowest temperatures of 3-6 degrees.

“Tonight will be mostly dry and calm under clear spells,” said Met Eireann.

“Rather cold too with grass frost.”
