It’s a fresh morning out there but it looks like we’ll be wrapping up for the rest of the week, if the latest report from Met Éireann is anything to go by.

While temperatures will (thankfully!) stay between 5 and 11 degrees, the weekend’s drizzly rain is predicted to continue straight through to the weekend.

“The week ahead will be quite mild with a southerly airflow over Ireland bringing daytime temperatures in the low teens and the nights frost free. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain, extending northeastwards. Some dry, bright intervals also,” they said.

“Wednesday will be a mild, breezy day with a mixture of cloud and sunny spells. Some passing showers also.”

The end of the week will be “mild and unsettled” with some sunny spells and some outbreaks of rain.
