Most places will be dry but rain is said to develop in the southwest in the late afternoon.
Top temperatures to reach between 8 and 11 degrees.
Rain will continue on Saturday night over Munster, Connacht and western parts of Leinster, but elsewhere it will still be largely dry.
Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees in fresh southeasterly winds.
