These Are The Apps That Drain Your Phone Battery Seriously Fast

The moment of panic when you realise that *shock horror* you left your phone charger at home can’t be described.

The threat of FOMO, of precious hours lost of mindless social media scrolling on the bus home from work and no podcast to listen to. It’s tough, and while you’d think that all the technology advancements in recent times would mean a long lasting phone battery existed, it still doesn’t.

Apparently though, there are certain apps that are particularly to blame for quick battery drain. 

The main culprits for iPhones?

• Google Chrome

• Twitter

• Google Maps

• Skype

As for Android phones, battery killers included Google Docs, Samsung Media Hub, SHAREit, Video Editor, Flipboard, Google Text-to-Speech, Clean Master, LINE and Adobe Acrobat reader.

Basically, just don’t use your phone and keep that charger close to your heart. Or y’know, dig out that old reliable Nokia 3310.
