This Bizzare Sausage Flavour Is Not What You’d Expect To Find In Irish Stores

AmyBell

Sausages are one of the greatest things to enjoy with a morning fry-up, and we all know nothing beats a good sausage sandwich or a sneaky sausage roll when you’re hungover.

We all have our favourite brands, but now a butcher in Cavan will be supplying Lidl with this very unusual sausage flavour combination.

What is it?

It’s only chocolate chips and honeycomb sausages. Eh, what?

Barry Johns Butcher’s – Crowe’s based has come up with the very different sausage combination and we wonder how they taste. Sweet? Savoury? Who tf knows.

The family butchers has won numerous awards for their products so maybe this is worth a try for any adventurous foodies out there.

Lidl will also be selling two other of the butcher’s sausage flavours including, a Caramelised Red Onion flavour and Cheddar Cheese and Chilli.

The sausages are part of Lidl’s first Irish food promotion, Best of Ireland, from today which includes an additional 71 Irish products in their stores around the country.

Reddit user, ChicagoGetawayMug, took to the Ireland subreddit page to ask people what they think and some are curious to try it.

Some things you think won’t work together, but maybe this will change our brekkies forever…

If you try them out for yourself, make sure to let us know what you think!
