Sarah

Wanna know where your best chances of finding an ultra gorge beach in Ireland are?

Well, the full list of Blue Flag beaches (beaches that meet international water quality and environment standards) has been released and one county has topped the charts.

Of the 88 beaches that met Blue Flag standards across the country, it’s the lovely Co. Kerry that has received an impressive 13 awards for its beaches – more than any other county in Ireland.

The 13 Kerry beaches to receive Blue Flags in the 2017 awards are:

Inch, Ballybunion North, Ballybunion South, Ballyheigue, Banna, Fenit, Kells, Magherabeg, Rossbeigh, Ventry, Ballinskelligs, Derrynane and White Strand, and Caherciveen.

Heading to one of those beauts next time we’re in need of an ocean dip!
