Remember when you were in school and you did a painting and you brought it home, and your Mam made you think it was amazing and you were truly the next Van Gogh? Then the next day you looked at it and saw it for what it was: a pile of crap.
Irish artist Colin Davidson has never experienced this moment. His newest piece of art, an incredible portrait of Ed Sheeran, is now hanging proudly in the National Portrait Gallery, London.
Davidson met Sheeran in 2015, and sketched him for 3 hours, before completing not one, but two portraits. one for a private collection, the other now found in London.
Ed is not the first celebrity to grace Davidson's easel. He has painted several big names before, and each portrait is just as amazing as the previous.
In 2016 he painted The Queen. THE QUEEN.
Also in 2016, he completed a painting of Jamie Dornan, but not with 50 Shades of Grey.
Bet you wish you could paint Brad like he can.
And I'll leave you with a personal favourite of mine; Seamus Heaney.
