We've all been there, sitting on a plane and getting that awful feeling... nature is calling.
You spend much time analysing the lights above head, can I go now? How about now? You create a plan in your head for how you're going to squeeze past the two people beside you, oh god why did you sit at the window seat!
Being in a plane 30,000 feet above the sky with a couple of hundred people and only a few bathrooms can be challenging. There always seems to be someone in there and you just hate standing in that crowded cabin.
However, according to one expert, there are two golden windows of opportunity to allow yourself for a stress-free pee.
Former flight attendant, Erika Roth told Mel Magazine the best time to go is as soon as the seatbelt sign is turned off and food and drink is served. This could get you an extra few minutes in the jacks. score!
For those who might be a little embarrassed about post-bathroom odours, Roth recommends asking the attendant for packets of coffee grounds and hanging them up in the restroom, as she explains "The grounds will soak up the odour."
So there you have it, a little hint for your next flight.
