Have you always dreamed of winning the Lotto? Sure haven’t we all.
We’re convinced that some counties are just naturally luckier than others, and after last night’s jawdropping win of €6.4 million, we’re pretty sure that we’re gonna head to wee Cavan for our next lottery ticket.
The Irish Independent has revealed that the multi-million winning Lotto ticket was sold at Argue’s Londis Service Station, Cootehill in Cavan.
Jim Argue, the owner of the family-owned service station, said he found out the good news at 10.30pm last night.
“It took a while to sink in that we sold a ticket worth €6 million,” he told Independent.ie.
The ticket has yet to be claimed, with the winning numbers for the €6,409,326 Jackpot were 7, 16, 18, 20, 24, 37 and the bonus number was 13.
Cavan has a track record of selling million winning tickets, with a huge €4.5 million ticket sold in SuperValu in Bailieborough in 2016, with the same store selling a €3 million ticket in 2014.
Imagine someone is waking up a multi-millionaire this morning and doesn’t even know it?
