This Meath Shop Has Had Enough Of Customers Talking On Their Mobile Phones

mariemadden

It’s fair to say that, these days, we spend as much time looking at our phone as we do the people around us.

However, one Meath shop has had enough and decided to put the foot down when it comes to customers using their mobiles during transactions.

The owners placed this sign on the counter and are now refusing to serve anyone who takes a phone call while dealing with the shop’s staff.

The move has received a largely positive response since the pic was posted to the Meath Chronicle‘s Facebook page this week, with many commenting that using a phone while paying is “bad manners”.

What do you reckon? Is it rude or just clever multi-tasking?
