Steak lovers beware – as a well-loved steak spices product has been recalled due to undeclared ingredients.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) released a statement this morning, mentioning that the product, Anna and Clara’s Steak Spices, has undeclared traces of celery and peanut in all of its batches.

Steak Spice Label

The FSAI have stated:

Celery and peanut are undeclared on the label of Anna and Clara’s Steak Spices available in Søstrene Grene stores. This may make the product unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of celery and/or peanut, and their constituents.

This recall is for all batches of the product, with any or all  ‘best-before’ dates: all date codes and a weight of 70g.
