The Aussie Flu is spreading rapidly in Ireland, with several people dead and many hospitalised.
This morning the HSE released two maps showing the virus’s reach in each area of the country.
Dublin and parts of surrounding counties are the worst affected, with “widespread activity”, while other regions vary between “regional activity” and “no activity”.


The data is from from December 18 – 24 (week 51) and December 25 – 31 (week 52).
Between those two weeks, you can see how flu increased in some areas and decreased in others.
Let’s hope it doesn’t get much worse…
