While you were sleeping, the Irish Women’s Football team were busy negotiating with the Football Association of Ireland to be given the privilege of having such basic rights as their own tracksuits, the option not to use holidays from work in order to represent their country and access to a gym.
Yesterday, the squad refused to attend training while receiving the backing of the general public.
At around 3am today, the FAI released the following statement revealing that all the demands of the team had been met.
