If you haven’t already read Brendan O’Connor’s article from this weekend’s Sunday Indo, then… well… lucky you.
We’re not going to go into too much detail, but suffice to say the headline is ‘Me and the junior prostitutes’ convention’ – a reference to last week’s Rihanna gig in the Aviva – and it doesn’t get much better from there.
Whether it was the head-scratching lines like “a little part of me was sad that [a young girl] wasn’t with all her pals, half naked and drinking alcopops”, or the general oddness of it all, it got people talking on Twitter.
And not in the good sense…
TL;DR: Middle aged man writes entire think piece about underage girls’ arses, calls them prostitutes.

Brendan O’Connor wrote about how he had a good old gawk at some 12 year olds arse as she headed off to Rihanna. https://t.co/H4yzPLKpZN

Shame on @Independent_ie for publishing this crap by Brendan O’Connor. Just what girls need, another middle aged white man passing comment.
