Two Irish women have been seriously injured in a road collision in Northern France.
According to Independent.ie, the Irish women were among eight injured in the incident which occurred in the Beaumont-en-Auge area on Wednesday.
One of the women was taken to hospital in the city of Caen in a critical condition.
The Department Of Foreign Affairs is aware of the case and is providing assistance.
