A British Conservative Party Councillor has thrown fuel to the Eurovision points fire by tweeting an anti-Irish slur from his account after Ireland gave zero points to the UK.
Warwick Tory Counsellor Nick Harrington saw red (he must REALLY love the Eurovision), writing: “#Eurovision2017 thanks Ireland. You can keep your f’king gypsies! Hard border coming folks!”
Jesus.
The tweet sparked outrage on Twitter, with some users saying they planned to report him to police for hate speech.
