WATCH: A Tractor Had A Dramatic Run In With The Gardaí Yesterday

There are some things that are truly only unique to our country, and we think a tractor having a run in with the Gardaí is top of the list.

Yesterday afternoon a man in his 60s decided to crash into a Garda car in Co. Kerry.

Of course.

Gardaí were called into Rathmore and pursued the tractor after it failed to stop for a Garda car on the road at a check point.

The tractor was driven across the road and crashed into a patrol car before it reversed and drove away.

The Gardaí managed to catch the man in his 60s who was arrested on suspicion of “criminal damage”, “endangerment” and “dangerous driving”.

He is said to have received medical assistance was being questioned in Mallow Garda Station.
