The adverse weather conditions may have played a part here but this is still incredibly reckless.
A video has emerged on a Facebook page called ‘Idiot Drivers Northern Ireland’ of an overtaking manoeuvre which almost went horribly wrong.
The driver in question appears to veer into the hard shoulder on the opposite side of the road but continues driving at high speed before almost colliding with a truck.

The incident occurred on the Limavady Mountain Road in Derry and, according to Derry Now, has been reported to the PSNI.
