WATCH: This New Netflix Trailer Based On A True Irish Story Will Creep You Out

Netflix are on a roll  with their new releases, and their most recent one continues the trend.

It seems people can’t get enough of thrilling, murder-mystery series so they’ve gone and created another one; based on a true story.

A true Irish story.

Alias Grace,  which was also a novel written by Margaret Atwood, tells the story of Grace Marks, who was a young Irish immigrant in Canada in the 1800s.

She was convicted of a gruesome double homicide and was sentenced to jail – before she was exonerated 30 years later.

To this day, it’s unclear whether she actually played a part in the murder, and the story was so chilling that Margaret Atwood turned it into one of her best novels.

The new Netflix series stars Sarah Gadon and Anna Paquin, and is already on Irish Netflix.

You know what to do next.
