Here’s Your Weekend Weather Forecast — And It’s Actually Pretty Good

James Fenton

As you all know, this week has been a bit of a wet one but things are set to brighten up a notch this weekend.

Met Éireann is forecasting that today will be brighter and drier with just ‘the odd shower’ and top temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees.

Saturday will see some rain and top temperatures of 21 degrees.

Sunday looks slightly better. According to the Met Éireann:

‘Largely dry on Sunday, with a mixture of cloud and sunny spells and just some well scattered showers.

Top temperatures of 16 to 19 C., generally, but tipping 20 or 21 C. and sunshine in parts of Munster and south Leinster.

Winds mainly moderate southwesterly, but fresh at first in some northern areas. Mild and misty overnight, with some patches of light rain developing in places. Lowest temperatures 10 to 14 C.’

Above 20 degrees again? We’ll take a bit of wind for that.
