In keeping with this weirdly mild winter we’ve been having, temperatures in Ireland are set to soar to around 11°C this week.
Today there will be highs of 9-11°C around the country with some drizzle and fog thrown in for good measure.

A forecaster told the Irish Mirror:
“It’ll be mostly dry, if rather cloudy, during the day as the drizzle and fog becomes mostly confined to the hills and some Atlantic coasts.
“Some breaks in cloud may develop at times.
“It’ll be mild, with highs of 9C to 11C in light southerly breezes.
“Cloudy and misty with patchy drizzle and fog, but dry in other areas. Lowest temperatures of 4C to 8C.”
So there ya are now. Time to iron those shorts.
