The Weather Forecast For The Bank Holiday Weekend Looks A Bit Miserable

The temperatures may have been balmy this week but we’ve got some bad news, the rain is moving in.

The latest update from Met Éireann predicts that showers will start to move in later today in the northwest, with patchy rain continuing tomorrow.

Conditions will stay mild, with temperatures between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius, but are “likely to turn more unsettled” as we move into the Bank Holiday weekend.

A spokesperson for Met Éireann has warned that there will be scattered outbreaks of rain spreading erratically eastwards on Saturday, before heavy spells of rain affect the western half of the country on Sunday.

“The best of any dry and bright weather will be over the eastern half of the country, but even here some rain is likely at times,” they said.

Lovely.
