Westlife issued a heartfelt appeal to their Malaysian fans for help in finding a missing Irish teenage girl during one of their concerts this week.

The group was performing in the city of Shah Alam near Kuala Lumpur when they made the appeal about 15-year-old Nora Quoirin, asking fans to help in any way they could.

Nora disappeared from her room at the Dusun resort in Seremban, an hour south of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, last Sunday and a massive search has since been underway.

During Westlife’s performance at the Malawati Stadium, Nicky Byrne said, “We call on all the people in this country to offer their assistance in providing the latest information on Nora’s disappearance.

“We are sure her family is now hoping for Nora to return to their arms safely. We are sure Nora’s family is very grateful for your help. Thank you, Malaysia.”

Westlife also tweeted a missing poster of Nora and asked fans to share it on social media, writing, ‘We are in KL and doing a concert tonight & it’s very upsetting to hear this news.’

Anyone with information is asked to call +44800 098 8485 or email missing persons charity the Lucie Blackman Trust on [email protected].
