We’ve Got Some Bad News About The Weather

It may look gorgeous out there now but the weather is set to take a turn for the worse, according to Met Éireann.

The summer sunshine this morning had us dreaming of pints after work but the forecasters have warned that the West will be hit by heavy showers, which will become more widespread during the day.

There will also be some “occasional thundery downpours” in the afternoon, with highest temperatures of between 13 and 17 degrees.

The same blend of sun and showers is expected tomorrow, but things are looking a bit more dry on Friday.

“Friday will be a bright, fresh day with some sunny spells but overall a good deal of cloud with local heavy, thundery downpours likely. Feeling rather cool with maximum temperatures only in the low to mid-teens.”
