One lucky Irish person has woken up €500,000 richer this morning just in time for Christmas after scooping the top prize in Tuesday’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

The National Lottery has revealed that the prize is yet to be claimed and they’re appealing for the winner to check their numbers and claim their winnings.

Tuesday’s winning EuroMillions Plus numbers were 11, 16, 18, 28 and 35.

Lotto bosses revealed that the winning ticket was sold at the Petrogas Service Station in Mountmellick, Co Laois.

A National Lottery spokesperson said, “So far this year, we have had 27 winners of the EuroMillions Plus top prize in Ireland and our latest lucky Laois winner will hopefully claim their €500,000 just in time for Christmas.

“If you are this lucky ticket holder, be sure to sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will make arrangements for you to come to the National Lottery Winner’s Room to get your prize.”
