The weather hasn’t exactly been great recently, what with the heavy fog yesterday and rainfall warnings for today and tomorrow.
The forecast for the next while doesn’t look too promising either – it’s going to be very wet over the weekend, and then the showers will turn wintry.
Falls of sleet and snow are likely from Monday evening into Tuesday – mainly across the north and west, but all areas are at risk.
There’ll be thunder in some spots and it’s going to be bitterly cold, with maximum temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees.
It’ll feel much colder due to the wind chill effect and sheltered areas should expect frost and ice.
