Because good value is the best sauce

Cork

At Lovin, we are big believers that little treats are good for you.

There's nothing like a weekend brunch (that doesn't cost the earth) to revitalise the soul at the end of a crazy week.

To celebrate little treats (and little savings), we've teamed up with Clayton Hotels to celebrate their Click On Clayton initiative. If you join today you'll save €10 per room per night every time you book online at Clayton Hotels - the perfect little treat.

To show you just how far €10 can go, we've picked out ten delicious brunches under €10 in Cork city.

1. Salt, Victoria Street

This lively little wine bar serves tapas in the evening and also does a great brunch on weekends from 10am to 3pm.

Their Canadian waffle with smoked bacon and maple syrup is an absolute must and comes in at €9.50.

2. Brick Lane, Main Street

The cool interior includes unicycle bar stools and the brunch menu boasts everything from raisin toast to a breakfast pizza, so it’s the perfect place for when you’re looking for something a little different.

The scrambled eggs royale is a reasonable €8.50.

3. The Castle Café, Blackrock Castle

Set within the grounds of Blackrock Castle, brunch at this Mediterranean-inspired café comes with a side of stunning views.

You won’t regret ordering their Eggs Florentine on bûcheron sourdough for just €8.

4. Liberty Grill, Washington Street

Visiting one of the most iconic brunch spots in Cork is a must while you’re in the city. Even better, their all-day brunch menu runs until 5pm.

Their French toast with Caherberg smoked bacon at €7.40 is the perfect way to get your day started.

5. Goldberg's, Albert Quay

Located in the city’s Jewish Quarter, this Meatpacking District-influenced bar is the perfect spot to settle down with friends for a few hours.

Their poached eggs and avocado on sourdough will cost you €9.

6. The Parlour Café, Cornmarket Street

We highly recommend their sausage and eggs served in a skillet and topped with Carrigaline Gouda cheese, which comes in at just €7.50.

7. Idaho, Caroline Street

This quirky café has a buzzy atmosphere and seriously good coffee. Their black pudding, bacon and sausage bap at € 4.90 is some of the best value in town.

8. Bobo, The Glucksman Gallery

This artisan café by the main entrance to University College Cork serves up brunch with a difference.

Their delightful Shakshuka, a Middle Eastern dish of baked eggs with tomato salsa, will cost you €9 – and we definitely recommend adding chorizo for an even €10.

9. Arthur Mayne’s, Pembroke Street

Housed within a 120-year-old chemist-turned-wine bar and with a quirky décor to match, it should definitely be on your to-do list while you’re in the city.

Their brilliantly named Florence & The Machine comes in at €8.95.

10. The Sextant, Albert Street

This popular bar and café only serves brunch on Sundays from 11am to 3pm so make sure you don’t miss out. They do a great vegetarian breakfast and have a kid’s menu, too.

Coming in at just €8 is their delicious eggs avocado & chorizo.
