Until then, this time of year is for meeting up with friends. Everybody comes home, everyone’s around and up for meeting up, grabbing some tasty grub and cocktails.
Sure you have so much to celebrate, ehhhh hello? Getting through this year – let’s be real, there were days when it was an absolute struggle. You got through it though and now is the time to give yourself a pat on the back.

Welcome to The 12 Twists Of Christmas with Schweppes!
Each week we’ll be sharing with you some of our favourite drinks to prepare over the festive season. They’re all super easy to make and made from ingredients that you’d easily pick up in your local shop – no need to be rushing to some hipster market for them! Sure you probably have most of the ingredients lying around your gaff anyway, which is key.
This week’s cocktail is Berry Fizz.
It’s made from Tito’s vodka, triple sec and lime juice are mixed with a refreshing combination of cranberry juice and Schweppes 1783 Light Tonic Water.
This cocktail would also be great in a punch bowl, so it’s ideal for Christmas parties.
All you’re mates will think you’re a cocktail master if you arrive in with this beauty.
To top it all off, it’s got a slight red-ish tinge to it so it really is Christmassy.
The cocktail is made from Tito’s vodka. Tito’s Handmade Vodka is an original American Craft Vodka. In 1995, Bert “Tito” Beveridge obtained the first legal permit to distill in Texas and created this spirit. They batch distill this corn-based vodka using old-fashioned pot stills. It’s distilled and bottled by Fifth Generation Inc. in Austin, Texas on the very same land where the whole venture started.
It’s a premium vodka that aims to deliver the highest quality. You’ll find it in O’Briens Wine, Tesco and The Celtic Whiskey Shop.
Here’s how to make this stellar cocktail:
Ingredients
• 30ml Tito’s Vodka
• 15ml triple sec
• 12.5ml lime juice
• 35ml cranberry juice
• 50ml Schweppes 1783 Light Tonic Water
Garnish: orange twist
Method
Fill a hurricane glass with ice. Add the Tito’s Vodka, triple sec, lime juice and cranberry juice respectively. Stir hard and top up with Schweppes 1783 Light Tonic Water.
To garnish: cut the peel of an orange, top, tail, taper and twist into the glass.
Quick and simple but bursting with flavour.
This cocktail will soon become one of your faves.
