Excited for Smithwick’s 10° West? Yeah you are!

We wanted to make sure you’re all set for the Achill Island festival this December 31 and January 1, so we’ve put together this handy little list of pretty much everything we thought you might possibly want to know about the event.

We’re nice like that.

Just keep in mind that all trails and routes included below are weather dependant and may change on the day.

Oh and every activity over the two-day festival will end with a complimentary pint of Smithwick’s!

Timetable

New Year’s Eve

9am: Check-in at The Annexe Inn

11.15am–12.30pm: Yoga (shuttle bus from The Amethyst carpark)

11.15am–1.30pm: Greenway Cycle (shuttle bus from The Amethyst)

11.30am–1.00pm: Hiking (depart from The Amethyst)

1pm–3.30pm: Greenway Cycle (shuttle bus from The Amethyst)

2pm–3.30pm: Hiking (depart from The Amethyst)

2.15pm–3.30pm: Yoga (shuttle bus from The Amethyst)

2.30pm: Music entertainment to commence with Graham Sweeney at The Annexe Inn

3.30pm: Robert Delaney

4pm: The Silken Same

5pm: Lilla Vargen

6pm: Let’s Set Sail

7pm: Access to The Smithwick’s tent — Singalong Social

8.30pm: Stomptown Brass

9.45pm: Daithi

11pm: Talos

New Year’s Day

The only ATM on the island can be found Sweeney’s SuperValu at Achill Sound.

What should you bring?

  • Wear comfortable, waterproof footwear and warm clothing for all outdoor activities.
  • Bikes and helmets to be provided for greenway cycling.
  • Yoga mats and water to be provided for yoga.
