If I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! taught us anything, it’s that we love nothing more than seeing our favourite celebs stripped of their creature comforts and plonked in the wilderness to fend for themselves.
With that in mind, the mischievous folk at BIC decided to challenge two of Ireland’s leading social stars to take on the Irish elements in a survival challenge like no other. Model and author, Roz Purcell and social media sensation James Kavanagh went head to head in the ‘Survival of the BICest’.
In the video you can see these intrepid influencers complete a number of challenges while out in the elements, like collecting water, making food, finding shelter and starting a fire… but pesky James was caught cheating when he used a smuggled BIC Megalighter to light a candleabra of all things.
Teamwork wasn’t exactly a strength…
No sooner did they have their water collected from the stream, than Roz was off up the hill by herself, leaving poor James for dead.
They discovered the importance of tinder…
No, not that Tinder.
James carried a candelabra everywhere…
Again, working together wasn’t really a thing…
