This is not a drill: McDonald’s is now on Just Eat

Brian Dillon

Yes, you heard right. McDonald’s is now on Just Eat, meaning McDelivery is now more available than ever. Oh, what a time to be alive.

This means you can simply order from your local McDonald’s with a few clicks across a number of locations in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and Louth with a total of 47 restaurants being available on the Just Eat App from 25th November via the Just Eat app. The rollout started on Wednesday, November 11, meaning it’s already available to some Irish customers.

It will feature all of our breakfast, lunch and dinner faves and we are pretty excited about that.

Customers in Dublin 1 (O’Connell Street), Dublin 15 (Blanchardstown), Dublin 6 (Rathmines), Dublin 5 (Coolock), Cork City, Limerick City and Galway City were the first to benefit from this exciting roll-out.

Whether you wake up with a hankering for a classic Egg McMuffin and a coffee or you fancy adding a bit of excitement to your working from home lunch with some McNuggets, you’ll be able to do just that via the Just Eat app.

Or, perhaps you fancy a cheeky Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate McFlurry while you enjoy a Netflix binge.

Alistair Reid, McDonald’s Director of Operations for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, said:

“This expanded offering ensures that your favourite meal is only ever a few clicks away. In an ever-changing retail and hospitality environment, we are always looking for opportunities to improve and enhance the service experience for our customers. This exciting collaboration with Just Eat Ireland is the perfect way to do just that.”

Amanda Roche-Kelly, Managing Director Just Eat Ireland said:

“We’re thrilled to be launching our partnership with McDonald’s and making McDelivery available to our Just Eat customers right across Ireland.

“Significantly expanding the delivery areas for McDonald’s lovers nationwide, as the traditional sit-in McDonald’s restaurants remain closed, this partnership will also serve up a sense of normality in our customers’ routines, despite all the change and worry outside people’s doors at the moment.”

I don’t know about you, but this is just the exciting news I was craving while stuck at home.
