With the constant competition from rivals Nike, the German sportswear brand Adidas have revealed their latest collection XENO. It’s been inspired by the Xenopeltis snake that’s found in Southeast Asia, best known for its highly iridescent scales.
Adidas have designed a new reflective technology that makes the material appear black in daylight but transforms into fluorescent colour under flash or direct light. XENO will be available on their ZX Flux, Superstar and Metro Attitude trainer styles.
The exclusive XENO trainers hit the shelves on Friday 13th next week in the USA and selected Adidas Original stores with a global release yet to be announced. They’ll range from $110-140. They’re absolutely slick and I’ll certainly be trying to get my hands on a pair.
