Butler House on Patrick St., Kilkenny, are hosting a wonderful Afternoon Sea event this weekend and you’d be only a mad hatter not to attend. The platter on offer combines the classics with delicious seafood – crabmeat on brioche, smoked salmon on Guinness bread and lobster with caviar, to name but a few of the tasty options.
The most unusual part of this platter however, is not in the food but rather the drinks option. Instead of sipping on a dainty cup of tea or coffee, you’re china cup will be filled with creamy lobster bisque.
The restaurant in Butler House overlooks a stunning courtyard and it is the ideal spot to perch yourself and watch the world go by while tucking into a fancy Sunday treat.
