Prepping for Christmas can be full on – to say the least. Food, decorations, presents, having the in-laws around. Yeah, pretty hectic, right?

It’s going to be busy no matter what, so the secret’s in the prep. As being super organised isn’t everyone’s cupán tae, we’ve teamed up with Lidl and had a little (or should we say Lidl) look at some of the delish Festive Favorina range hitting the shelves in and it’s all pretty delish looking.

Sit back, grab a pen and paper and get writing people. We’ve got your hassle free, tasty Christmas sorted. Job done.

1. Mince Pies

There’s no airs and graces around these – deliciously golden pastry with a lightly spiced filling. Spoon on a dollop of cream for the ultimate indulgence.

Back in the day, it was said if you ate a mince pie every day from Christmas to the 5th of January, you’d bask in happiness for the next 12 months! We think it’s only fair to test this out – good thing each box has 12. You should probably bulk buy though. Not sharing, soz.

2. Luxury Praline Assortment

This is one box of chocolates where you certainly know what your gonna get – delish, creamy treats that will top off Christmas dinner perfectly.

Made from one part white sugar, two parts butter, three parts oat flour and ALL PARTS NOM!

This time of year, there are always loads of biscuit tins in the house. Like, loads. If you’re looking to stock up on a biscuit that will please the crowd, these gotta be on your list.
