Irish Passengers Heavily Affected By 100 Cancelled Flights This Weekend

This is becoming a bit too familiar at the moment…

Another wave of strikes this weekend means that over 100 flights will be cancelled across Europe this weekend with Irish passengers affected.

French Air Traffic Controllers are seemingly ready to strike again this weekend and Ryanair has said that it could have to cancel up to 100 flights on Saturday and Sunday which would include its Dublin to Nice service.

Aer Lingus is also forced to cancel four of its flights for Saturday as well as having the risk of additional cancellation or delays, according to The Irish Independent.

While Nice, Marseilles and Lyon are the affected airports, the strikes could have an influence on places which pass through French airspace, like Spain and Portugal.

If you are affected, you will have been notified by an email and/or text message with advice on what to do next.

If your flight has been cancelled, you could be entitled to a full refund or rebooking for the next flight to the destination.
