Cardiff Put On A Wonderfully Phizz Whizzing Event To Celebrate Roald Dahl’s 100th Birthday

Irish people who grew up with their noses stuck in Roald Dahl books may feel a pang of regret that they didn’t travel to Cardiff today. 

The world’s most loved children’s author was born in the Welsh capital on the 13th of September 1916 and today the city was awash with people as Giant Peaches, scrumdiddlyumptious snozzcumbers and splendiferous animals as its residents honoured the man who implanted a love of literature into children throughout the globe.
