Great news for sleepy people everywhere.

Tripadvisor have revealed the Traveller’s Choice Hotel awards, and Clare hotel Dromoland Castle has won Ireland a number one spot as the best hotel for sleep globally.

The award for World’s Best Hotel Sleep is a new subcategory to the Tripadvisor awards, but is nevertheless an important one, given that you spend half your stay at a hotel snoozing, so for an Irish hotel to win on a global scale is huge.

Managing Director at Dromoland Castle Mark Nolan said this of their impressive win.

“At Dromoland Castle, we believe that a good night’s sleep is the cornerstone of a memorable and rejuvenating hotel experience. This accolade is testament to our unwavering commitment to providing unparalleled comfort, reinforces our position as a global leader in luxury hospitality and motivates us to continue raising the bar for excellence in guest satisfaction. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to TripAdvisor and, most importantly, to our valued guests whose trust and support has made this achievement possible.”

Dromoland Castle prides itself on making every guest that stays there feel like royalty.
