Donegal is the new LA, we’ve been saying it for years. Different hills. Same vibe.

Courteney Cox has been added to the list of celebrities spending time in the hills of Donegal, along with Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick.
The Friends star visited The Boathouse Restaurant in Moville, Donegal last week with partner Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol, and is believed to have rang in the New Year close to Johnny’s home in Derry.
In a post on Instagram, Cox wrote: “Happy GMT New Year!” accompanied by a picture of the couple.

Sarah Jessica Parker is no stranger to Donegal – she shares a holiday house in Kilcar with husband Matthew Broderick, and the pair are regular visitors to the Gaeltacht village. The Broderick Cup tournament, an annual event which takes place at Kilcar GAA Club was created in memory of Matthew’s parents, James and Patricia Broderick, who regularly visited Donegal and were great supporters of the local club.
