Male engagement rings

Dealz Ireland will be selling male engagement rings for €1.50 from next Monday.

The ‘Ask Him Ring’ is being launched as a nod to Bachelor’s Day, which is an old Irish tradition that encourages women to propose to men or initiate dances on Leap Day.

With this year being a leap year, Dealz Ireland want ladies to “Take the leap…because he might never get round to it.”

The rings will be available to buy in stores from Monday, January 13 and retail at just €1.50.

“At the start of a new decade; the ‘Man Band’ is the perfect way for men to show off their love status and enjoy the engagement limelight!” a Dealz spokesperson told The Irish Sun.

“The success of the ‘Bling Ring’ last year proves that the Dealz proposal is definitely the way it’s done; and at only €1.50, why wait another four years to get down on one knee!”

Apparently the ring comes in four different styles and sizes, and comes complete with a velvet navy presentation box.

And for just €1.50, it’s not too much of a risky investment?
