Dine in Galway initiative highlighting amazing local foodie scene

Dine in Galway

Dine in Galway is an initiative helping to champion the best local food on offer in the City of Tribes.

A number of Galway’s cafes, restaurants and gastro pubs reopen their doors to the public today – their first time being open for sit-in service in several weeks. Hoping to help highlight the amazing local food on offer throughout the city, Dine in Galway is an initiative that makes finding somewhere to eat very easy.

One of Ireland’s most vibrant foodie destinations, the project aims to show that as a city with a huge diversity of people, cultures and flavours, there really is a plate for everyone.  Adding that Galway’s food heritage has helped to transform the city into a melting pot of different contemporary cuisines, the streets are dotted with restaurants that give customers a taste of the world without ever venturing outside the City of Tribes.

Advising people that Galway should be their first port of call for a foodie staycation this summer, Dine in Galway is run by a passionate team of foodies. Supported by Galway City Council, participating restaurants will introduce exclusive menu items and special offers that highlight the best of local food and drink – so make sure to keep up to date with events lest you miss out on a good deal.
