WATCH: This Clip Of A ‘First Dates’ Contestant Attempting To Pronounce ‘Quays’ Is Priceless

The final episode of the current series of First Dates Ireland airs tonight, and from what we’ve seen so far, it’s going to be feckin’ brilliant.

Yesterday we caught a glimpse of one particularly awkward date, and now we’ve witnessed what could possibly be one of the funniest moments of the series so far.

While on a date with 26-year-old student Sarah, her date, Paul (29) leaves her in absolute stitches after completely mispronouncing a word, that in all honesty we’ve probably all done before.

The pair took a seat at the bar, and began telling each other a little bit about where they’re from before Paul proceeded to tell Sarah where he used to work. 

“I used to work down below around the IFSC.”

When Sarah said she wasn’t sure where that is, Paul replied: “Dya know, just on the quays (kways).”
