Five alternative dessert recipes for your festive celebrations (1)

Looking to switch things up this Christmas? Here are five alternative dessert recipes for your festive family celebrations this year.

When I’m tucking into my turkey dinner, I can’t help but think about what’s to come after dinner! So, we thought we would share some unreal alternative dessert recipe inspiration with you guys to add an extra bit of sparkle to your festive celebrations.

We’ve teamed up with Chivers to do just that. These sweet treats won’t only satisfy the whole family but will give you a chance to spend some time together in the kitchen creating them. After what can only be described as a bonkers year, it’s time to ‘take a moment, to make a moment’ with Chivers over Christmas.

Chivers has a wide range of jams, marmalades and jellies that are ideal for helping you create something really special for the people you love over the festive season.

To find some gorgeous recipes that will be as tasty for the family as they will be fun to make, head here.

Raspberry Eton Mess

Even though we won’t be at an actual party this Christmas, this handy (and stunningly delicious) dessert will definitely add a party vibe to your festive eating.

Raspberry Cheesecake

Nothing beats a cheesecake in my opinion. Especially one topped off with an abundance of raspberries and blueberries.

Simple Trifle

Why not add a bit of festive fruity brightness to your Christmas festivities?

Jam Roll

A straightforward recipe to create a mouth-watering log. Simply top off with strawberries (or the fruit of your choice) and cream and dust on some icing sugar to serve.

Panna Cotta Tart

Using Chivers jelly, this sweet dish is the dessert that your family won’t see coming. Between the delicious jelly, crumbly crust and strawberries to top, it’s the fruity sweetness we’ll be craving after dinner.

It’s time to get the aprons at the ready, folks! Because I think your family will be seriously impressed with the above desserts to top off their Christmas dinner.
